The Air Force GOH contingent is from by men from the Field Defence Squadrons (FDS) of CAB, PLAB, SBAB and TAB.
Field Defence Squadron is entrusted with ensuring the security of all RSAF Air Bases. In peacetime, they conduct regular perimeter patrols and take charge of the control of personnel movement within the base. During operations, the Field Defence Squadrons provide ground defence of the air bases against enemy infiltration
